Have you never had a friend who you were friends with inspite of every fiber of your being? I definitely have had accidental friends who I agreed with absolutely nothing on, & yet one day I realized, shit, we’re friends. Cordy/Scoobys is the same way

yeah, I know ~deep down they know they’re friends, but it just kind of bugs me because Cordy and Buffy aren’t even that different when you get down to it?? Yeah, Buffy’s more badass for fighting demons, but she cares about shopping and boys just as much as Cordy does and they both have their witty banter characteristics. I just hate that we’re supposed to see her as sooooo different from everyone else. 

Yeah, that’ll probably make me like him a lot better!

Does anything Buffy does involve anything besides getting into and out of danger? There’s not a whole lot of normal going on around there. And yeah, there are a solid shit-ton of people who ship Buffy/Angel. (Not me though.)

No I know, it’s just at least with Xander and Willow the three of them talk about other stuff and watch movies and ~normal things. Like I know Angel is a vampire an everything, I just wish he would DO something besides brood/be a vampire/fight evil

I think the point is that everyone is in so much denial that the paranormal exists. They usually just credit it to Buffy being “the girl who lit her last school on fire.” They think she’s a delinquent, not a super hero, & she let’s them believe it.

Yeah, I definitely see all that. It’s just funny/weird that kids and teachers are dying on the daily and everyone’s just like whateva!!! But, you know, there’s a high school vampire show for you.

I’m just gonna keep calling them Buffy/Giles since both of those are so atrocious.

I don’t know anything about anything, only that I would appreciate them gettin it on. Buffy’s sixteen, totally free to get with a fortysomething year old dude! It’s nice because I know the relationship has a good chance of actually happening in the show. And by good chance I actually mean no chance. 

Maybe I will come to my senses in later seasons
