Does Buffy and Angel’s relationship ever involve anything besides them getting into and out of danger / making out all the time? Are they capable of talking about anything besides evil? What does he even do all day

Why does anyone even have to bother with secrecy about her slayer status when everybody saw Buffy save Cordelia & crew from a huge group of vampires in the second episode

I’m a few episodes into Buffy and it still, unfortunately, seems really dumb? Anyone wanna convince me to keep watching it?
