Important Buffy question:

Why does anyone even have to bother with secrecy about her slayer status when everybody saw Buffy save Cordelia & crew from a huge group of vampires in the second episode

#buffy  #buffy the vampire slayer  #not to mention all the crazy shit that happens in the town all the time and everyone seems to forget  #a town that does not appear to have a police force  #this show requires a rather enormous suspension of disbelief

  1. thecommonraven said: I think the point is that everyone is in so much denial that the paranormal exists. They usually just credit it to Buffy being “the girl who lit her last school on fire.” They think she’s a delinquent, not a super hero, & she let’s them believe it.
